Staying in a LEGOLAND® Hotel was a bit of a game changer for us so inevitably I had to write this LEGOLAND Resort Hotel review. I can’t believe how much more we loved the LEGOLAND experience just because we decided to stay overnight rather than visit for one day.
We had previously visited LEGOLAND Windsor Resort in the UK once before in 2021 and that was loads of fun but this time the enjoyment was taken to a whole new level!

1. Do you get access to LEGOLAND if you stay in the hotel?
LEGOLAND tickets are included in LEGOLAND Holidays if an inclusive purchase is made!
The main thing most people probably want to know is if they get access to LEGOLAND when staying in the hotel. However, the answer is – not always. The reason being that LEGOLAND offer B&B (read about that below) and some ‘Stay and Play’ packages when the LEGOLAND park is shut.
You can find out more about LEGOLAND Stay and Play by clicking this link here (ad):
We loved the LEGOLAND Resort Hotel so much that we would definitely be interested in trying out the LEGOLAND Stay and Play in the future. However, this time around we booked a Santa Sleepover which included park access for one day. We were able to choose what day we wanted to visit the park too so we went for Sunday which was our second day.
If you would like to find out what our sleepover involved then please read my LEGOLAND Santa Sleepover Review by clicking here. It was amazing and we plan to go again as booking is open now!

2. Can I book the LEGOLAND Hotel if I already have tickets for the theme park?
There is an option to book the LEGOLAND Hotel as a B&B for those of you that have already purchased your LEGOLAND park tickets.
You can find out more by clicking here (ad):
There are so many LEGOLAND family ticket offers around that I have been looking into booking a LEGOLAND Bed & Breakfast myself recently too. I’ve got some Tesco Clubcard vouchers to use but further investigation is needed as I have a lot of questions!
This is what I’ve found out so far:
Can Tesco Clubcard vouchers be used on LEGOLAND?
Tesco Clubcard vouchers can be used to book LEGOLAND tickets. Hooray!
Can Tesco vouchers be used for the LEGOLAND Hotel?
Tesco vouchers cannot be used to book a LEGOLAND Hotel.
However, there are many ways to book a LEGOLAND Resort Hotel break, it’s just a matter of working out what option is best. I’ll write another article when we go again and will let you all know which way we chose to do it next!

3. LEGOLAND Resort Hotel Review – What room themes does the hotel have?
Ninjago, Adventure, Pirate, Kingdom and LEGO Friends.
The main reason we booked the LEGOLAND Resort Hotel is because our daughter loves LEGO Friends (especially Stephanie) and this hotel has LEGO Friends rooms. In fact, there is a whole hotel floor dedicated to LEGO Friends and the rooms and it’s pretty amazing.
If you would like to find out about the room we stayed in please read my LEGO Friends room review by clicking here.

4. Is there a LEGOLAND Hotel swimming pool?
LEGOLAND Resort Hotel has an indoor swimming pool and pirate-themed water play area.
Our family had great fun playing in the pirate themed water play area which is exclusively for hotel guests and pre-bookable before arrival. You get a 60 minute slot which can be booked before or after you have checked into your room or after you have checked out. Changing facilities are available next door to the pool and they include family rooms, lockers and hairdryers etc. Towels are given when you arrive and once in the pool you can have fun swimming, splashing and going down the slides. This is a must-do activity that we highly recommend!

5. LEGOLAND Resort Hotel Review – Are there any LEGOLAND Hotel restaurants?
LEGOLAND Resort Hotel has Bricks Restaurant and the Skyline Bar.
I was really pleased to find that the LEGOLAND Resort Hotel has two restaurants and breakfast in Bricks was included with our stay. The food was very yummy and the adults all chose to have a fry-up and our daughter had a stack of pancakes which she loved! There was also tea, coffee, orange and apple juice available and you could order as much as you like.

We also had dinner in Bricks restaurant which was of a very high standard. We all chose Christmas dinner and mine was vegetarian as shown above. The food came out lovely and hot and tasted really good so I was happy, as was my family too.
We were served by a friendly waiter who couldn’t do enough to accommodate our needs. After our mains we all had chocolate brownies for dessert which were fabulous. I can tell I really enjoyed mine by the fact I forgot to take a pic. Ha ha. You’ll just have to trust me when I say they were presented beautifully and tasted even better than they looked!

On the second day of our stay we had lunch in the Skyline Bar and that did not disappoint either. On arrival we had a lovely chat with the manager who made us feel very welcome indeed. Our daughter had a burger with chips and the adults all chose pizza and salad.

I decided to go for a fairly healthy option which was the halloumi salad. It had a mixed leaves, red onion, cucumber, carrot, red peppers, croutons and was topped with a balsamic dressing. Yum!
FAQ’S
When can I book a LEGOLAND restaurant in Windsor?
Bricks Restaurant is available to book 30 days in advance, however just like the LEGOLAND swimming pool, we recently found that the booking wizard let us make a breakfast reservation 58 days in advance (which I prefer if I’m honest)!

6. LEGOLAND Resort Hotel Review – What other facilities and entertainment does the hotel have?
As well as all the amazing room facilities, swimming pool, gym, restaurants, play areas, sensory room and evening entertainment, LEGOLAND Resort Hotel now has a LEGOLAND Playroom too!
Just to be clear, we haven’t experienced the LEGOLAND Resort Hotel Playroom yet as it was still being built when we went but what a great excuse to go back! Apparently this playroom is accessible when you book a Premium room so if you book a LEGO Friends room that will be included in the price too! I’ve had a little peek of what’s inside and there’s LEGO build tables, a DUPLO Village, and a place to get snacks and drinks called the Pirate Bar. It sounds really cool, don’t you think?
Whilst we are on the subject of entertainment, although this varies depending on when you stay I couldn’t not mention the LEGO Friends Carol Singing Show, as shown in the picture above. This was a show we went to see in the hotel and it really made our little girls stay. They were amazing singers and she couldn’t believe it when she got to meet them all and have a photo taken at the end! She hasn’t stopped singing Step into Christmas since!
If you would like to see the entertainment schedule for our stay then please click my Legoland Santa Sleepover review link which can be found here.
7. LEGOLAND Resort Hotel Review – Can you walk from the LEGOLAND Hotel to the park?
LEGOLAND is just a few steps away from the hotel so you can walk there in less than a minute!
Once it was time to check out of the hotel and head to the park on our second day we loved how we were able to walk straight onto the park rather than trekking down the hill. Also, as I showed you earlier, when it was time for lunch we popped back to the Skyline Bar in the hotel as it’s so close. It was lovely as we felt all cosy and warm while we ate!
8. Is it better to stay in a LEGOLAND Hotel?
It’s definitely worth staying in a LEGOLAND Hotel rather than just visiting the park.
LEGOLAND Resort Hotel Review – Conclusion
On that note, yes, in my opinion it is better to stay in a hotel rather than just visiting the park. We’ve been on a day out to the park once before and I can honestly say I was blown away by how much more we enjoyed the LEGOLAND experience with the luxury of the hotel too. I expressed my feelings to my fiance while we were there and he agreed 100%.
We live about two hours away from LEGOLAND Windsor so being able to drive up one day and then drive back the next was more relaxing than trying to cram it all into twelve hours or so. We were so happy with everything about our stay that we really can’t wait to go back.
LEGOLAND Resort Hotel has great accommodation, great entertainment and great facilities. What more could you want?
